Now I knew what the updated colour palette was, I went searching for funky glasses I could use. I also wanted some cute plates to place the glasses on so they didn't look too plain on an original white background. As I had already been to Ikea and bought some cool decor for my photoshoots, I instantly went back there.
I found some beautiful glasses and bottles that would fit in perfectly with the S/S17 trend, they were unusual and unique. Now I needed something liquid to have in them. I decided to use lemonade and some food colouring, this would create the gradient effect from the Miami Sunset bottles.
These are obviously block colours, I was just aiming for the gorgeous tie-dye effect. Here are my final images.
I was very happy with my final images especially as I have done all the photography myself as I do not like to rely on others. The lighting and colours came out great, I managed to pick up how vibrant they were. I had these cute love heart straws that finished off the wedding theme and fitted perfectly in the milk bottle glasses.
If I was to do this photoshoot again I would consider investing in some grenadine and make 'mocktails'. I would like to see how this photographed, although I do love my shoot with the bright colours, it really fits in with the tropic theme.
