Inspiration Websites

I mentioned about my font that I want it to be mode, pretty and simplistic.  Therefore, I would like to achieve the same with the whole layout of my website.  The website needs to be easy for the viewer to use but also hold a lot of information to keep them interested and to keep them revisiting the website.

I would also like the viewer to be so interested that he/she shares with their friends.  I have found a few websites/blog layouts that I like the homepage of, with the heading at the top then tab sections underneath.  I would like to keep the colour scheme the same throughout, at the moment I'm thinking to keep it monochrome with one main colour throughout.

Font

For the font for my title, I wanted something simplistic and easy to read whilst also looking pretty and modern.  So far I have found two that have caught my eye that I'd like to appear on my website.

I came across this font first and decided it could definitely be an option, it's pretty and elegant and would look great on the homepage.  However, in the process of downloading the font, I realised it was not 100% free.  As I am trying to work to a budget, I decided to choose a different font that was free.

I then came across this font next which was definitely free to download.  It's clear and easy to read but also has a swirly take on it.  So far this is my favourite one I have found.

I am still researching fonts on 'dafont.com' for the first few weeks before I decide on my final one.

Introduction

The WeddingForecaster will be a website to forecast new trend ideas for weddings.  Taking inspiration from international weddings, there will be numerous images and videos showcasing upcoming ideas.  Colours and fashion looks from current catwalk looks will also be used.

This bridal outfit is unique and something I would use for inspiration. The bejewelled overlay on a traditional white dress adds a special and unique element.  The headpiece is large and eye catching, an example of something I would us to catch the eye of a potential client.

Forecasting wedding trends for Spring/Summer 17, there will be a tropic and relaxed vibe.  With floaty materials such as linen and silk mixing with bright decorations they will create the perfect combination for a S/S 17 wedding.

The Name

I decided on something simple and to the point for the name of my website so people are more likely to remember it. I also checked on domain name websites if it was already taken, and it wasn't so I will be purchasing one soon.

Website?

I thought The WeddingForecaster would be suited better in a website form rather than a book because the trends will constantly be changing for each season each year.  Although it would have been lovely to create a coffee table book, I wouldn't have been able to forecast and add new ideas and trends.

Keeping the reader interested is very important to me therefore, my images have to be eyecatching and unique.
