Make-Up Photoshoot

As I am approaching the week were I need to start finalising my website, I am getting tight for time to do full photoshoots.  As I needed to photograph the wedding dresses I ordered, I used my initiative and decided to combine the dress and make-up photoshoots.  I used myself as the model and did the make-up too because a few people have let me down in the past and I did not want to rely on anyone.  Ellie Simons was my photographer.

Red lips maybe too striking for a wedding day however as we are mirroring a 1980's trend that will be coming back in S/S17 these make-up looks fit in perfectly.

This purple eye and lip are quite deep and striking.  However, if paired with the right dress I feel this look could work.  It would also take a daring bride to wear it.

Pink and green look lovely together and are really complimentary.  So I stuck with the bold lip and added a subtle green shimmer for the eyeshadow.  I paired it with a simple fishtail plait to complete the make-up look.

Overall, I really enjoyed doing this photoshoot.  I prefer modelling for myself because I know what poses I would like to achieve.  It is also one less person not to rely on.  I would like to thank my photographer Ellie Simons who stepped in last minute for me as my original photographer cancelled.
